Norma Escobar, born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, is the daughter of Honduran Minister of Public Education and businessman, Francisco Escobar Sr. and retired academic, Norma Munguia Canales. Norma and her siblings, Francisco Escobar Jr. and Maria Fernanda Escobar, currently live in Canada.


With a keen interest in sports, Norma started playing soccer at age 4. In 2003, Norma attended the prestigious International School of Tegucigalpa. In 2016, she graduated from International School receiving the highest award recognition as Female Athlete of The Year.


After completing her business administration program at Memorial University & Canadian Securities Course, Norma intends to pursue a program related to Computer Science, Mathematical Finance or Quantitative Analysis.
